The SensoNor 840 is a highly accurate and robust reusable transducer. A silicon chip is connected with the transducer membrane and forms the active part of a Wheatstone bridge. The appropriate SensoNor-dome is very easy to fill and can be quickly coupled to the transducer by a bayonet-lock, without any liquid between the transducer and dome membranes. All electrical parts of the transducer are separated from the housing. The membrane of the dome is building a separation layer between the housing and the saline solution. The SensoNor 840 is suitable for all blood pressure measurements during surgery and intensive care, to measure intracranial, gastrologic and intrauterine pressures as well as urodynamic measurements by catheterization. It can be connected to any kind of pressure registration equipment.
The SensoNor is gold plated for easier cleaning and offers a long life expectancy. It is suitable for very high frequency response, possesses a high overload protection, 10.000 mmHg and guarantees a very high accuracy of the measurement.
